Puntian Academy ACCREDITED BY TESDA

It was a successful defends by the Puntian Academy (PA) with the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) regional office for its accreditation. A highly technical presentation was prepared by Mr. Bernard Gabon to prove the PA’s desire of fulfilling its objective as a service-provider to the students.

August 18, 2006 was an important date for PA. TESDA Provincial Directress Marjorie Nilo was instrumental of the accreditation. She helped in the recommendation of PA’s papers after their inspection with the school last June 2006.

This assured the parents and the students of employment after finishing a course either in two-year computer programming or one-year PC operation skills.

The efforts boosted PA capability to contribute to the students’ quest for work amidst poverty. It further increased PA’s commitment and advocacy for quality education to poor students in the nearby villages.
