Thirty four (34) pioneering students of PA were assigned to different offices to complete their requirement of Computer Programming course starting last November 16, 2006.
Mr. Bernie Gabon, the computer instructor negotiated for the students’ on-the-job-training (OJT). The Quezon municipal office, Valencia city office, Skynet, National Irrigation Administration (NIA), PAHRD, San Agustin Parish and the library of PA were among those who accepted them. The students will complete their 720 hours required of their course based on TESDA guidelines to ensure the applicability of their skills. Maam Quejada and Sir Gabon took turns on monitoring of their activities. The students had the opportunity to experience working in different offices and learn to deal with various employees as they enter the world of work.
It was a timely training because others got Christmas gifts as gratitude to their job. We hope it was all well done. No chatting and texting while working please.
